Terms and Conditions
Contract - The contract entered into is between Paul and Julie Dove (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Owners’) and the holidaymaker (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Hirer’). The contract is effective once the required payment, deposit and balance, has been received from the Hirer. The property is Pwll Melyn.
Payment - For reservations made more than 8 week before the holiday start date the following deposit is payable:
For bookings made less than 8 weeks before the holiday start date full payment and the security deposit (see below) is due on booking. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Julie Dove’.
Outstanding Balance - The balance of the total holiday price and the security deposit (see below) is payable to not later than 8 weeks before the holiday start date. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Julie Dove’. When the balance of the price and the security deposit are received travel directions and key arrangements will be forwarded.
Cancellation – All cancellations must be in writing and must be received by the Owners no less than eight weeks prior to the holiday start date. If a booking is cancelled all efforts will be made by the Owners to re-let the property, and if successful all or part of the Hirer’s deposit will be refunded to the extent that it exceeds the difference in the total price agreed with the Hirer and the revised price obtained for the property. If a cancellation is not received within the prescribed time-scales the Hirer forfeits the deposit and is required to pay the full balance to the Owners.
Hirer’s Obligation - The Hirer agrees
To pay a security deposit of £100 with final balance which is totally refundable if the property is left as found;
To pay for the replacement of any breakage’s and losses and for the repair of any damage to the property;
To take all reasonable and proper care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the holiday and to pay for any additional cleaning costs resulting from a failure to comply with this;
To permit the Owners and their nominees reasonable access to the property to carry out any urgent maintenance;
Not to sublet or share or exceed the maximum number of persons allowed to sleep at the property (six). The Owners reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition.
Non availability of property - If, for any reason beyond the Owners control, the property is not available on the date booked, the Owners liability to the Hirer is limited to the repayment of all monies received from the Hirer;
Caring For Your Safety - Every reasonable effort has been made to indicate possible safety hazards in the property description. However, it is guests responsibility (particularly parents with young children) to inspect the property and grounds immediately on arrival and note any possible hazards. Check the layout of your holiday property so that in an emergency you can get out quickly and easily. Please read and adhere to the instructions provided on notices in the property.
No Smoking - is allowed in the property. The Owners reserve the right to curtail, without compensation, the holiday of any Hirer who appears not to be complying with this restriction.
Heating - Electricity costs are included in the rental prices.
Pets – The Owners regret that pets are not accepted in this property. The Owners reserve the right to refuse or curtail a booking, without compensation, which appears not to meet this requirement.
Complaints – The Owners truly hope that you will not need to complain, but if there are reasonable grounds then you must inform the Owners immediately so that appropriate action can be taken. No such matters can be dealt with after the completion of your holiday.
Alterations to Brochure- The Owners believe that the information provided for this property is accurate, but reserve the right to alter the details at any time. The Owners will always endeavour to inform the Hirer of any changes at the time of booking.
Arrival and Departure Times - Arrival from 3.00pm and Departure before 10 am
Bed Linen - Bed linen is provided. Guests are requested to bring their own towels (and beach towels)
